After our the color-vension yesterday, we went and got some of the color samples so that we could start to make a decision... We didn't get all of the color samples because Sherwin Williams ran out! (seriously!)
Although you can't really tell, here are the color samples:
Very light gray-ish near the attic (it would be for the attic, but we can't paint that until the drywallers are finished)

Alok and my mom then spent the day working on the house, including continuing to strip the paint and getting the laundry room floor ready for tile:

See these 3 dots on the bottom....they were likely decorative spindles that someone cut off. There are 3 between all of the posts.
Our drywaller continued to work and here are the latest attic pictures:
We also bought the tile for the attic bathroom. Here it is:
We will also have to do a bit of work around the flooring. Molding will be re-hung eventually, but due to the plaster vs. drywall size difference, there is a bit of a gap.

ReplyDelete@Purvi- Yes, they are dark and it will be the whole room. The laundry room has a light tile and will eventually have off-white cabinets throughout. The dining room has light rooms attached to it :-)
ReplyDelete@Maggie- I KNOW! I took the last 6 they had. I even called back today to make sure she wasn't wrong. They said they will be in Tuesday. You are welcome to come anytime today/tonight if you want, or later in the week when we get the others. Although, if you come sooner rather than later, that may help to determine what other samples to get. Just let me know! We appreciate the help!
@Purvi- We are also definitely not doing the darkest color for the dining room.
