In very exciting news, someone cleaned up our apartment area and did some organization of the insanity (OK, so it's not that exciting). Here is the area now:
This is about as clean as it will get until we make room in the garage and get help moving stuff. I mean, who needs doors?
We have also had a few light fixtures put in in the rooms that had no light.
Here is the under the stairs bath (new fixture on the right, in progress)
The apartment bathroom! Now it just needs the vanity (we have it, it needs painted), the fixtures (we've bought them), trim, and lots of cleaning.
In news that is owner of the house exciting, not blog reading exciting, most of the windows have been scraped and are primed. We are just painting them shut for now, until we can afford the gazillions of $$ that it will take to replace them and purchase screens for them.

The nursery is also coming along, with the windows being scrapped. It still needs painted windows, cleaning, trim (and then of course nursery stuff):
Before you look at these pics, imagine an overgrown jungle. Now here is most of our backyard, which is being cleaned up in hopeful fence preparation:
OK, so this area needs help
This area is just a mess:
As is the left side of the garage (aka home to things that eat our siding and then have probably destroyed our furniture):
We are continuing to work on fixing up this lovely siding, which should commence this week.
