The plumbers are finished! Well, at least with the kitchen and 3 bathrooms we had the plumb. Right now we have 2 working full baths, 1 half bath, and 1 nasty old full bath (OK, it's not that bad now that's its been cleaned). Granted, only one has a door for now (one of the projects for the work day on Saturday).
Here is all the glorious plumbing:
Small sink in kitchen area:
Kitchen sink:
Hmmmm..... these drains are reversed. Sigh. The garbage disposal should be on the small side, not the big side. To be fixed later.
Dishwasher and sink
A good angle for the under the stairs bath.... you have to turn sideways to get around the vanity for real, but hey, it's a bathroom:
Laundry room! Let's take bets on whether these still work:
Attic bath... now we just need some curtains so we don't expose ourselves to Hampshire street. Gotta love the slanted ceilings until you slam your head on them while taking pictures (I'm sure this won't be the last time):
Clawfoot tub that Alok refinished. Quote from a professional: $1000. Alok's kit and paint he bought: about $100 plus labor. Looking good!
That's all for now!

Looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteDid Alok have to refinish the inside of the tub too? If so, what did he use?
Apparently the inside was in fairly good condition, so he just used soft scrub. There is a slight chip, but nothing worth totally recoating it.
