Oh, if only we had really long arms.... that could make hours work easier.
(Due to editing by my husband that no longer makes sense, but whatever)
Alok has been busy building things, as seen here:
Support for part of the roof in the master bedroom
Close up on the support
Again
Nice looking tub with a wood trim built around it for tile some day....
Bathroom closet that he built on the left. You'll also see a shelf to the right where he said we can display something....
Standing inside our bedroom closet to be
Our master bedroom closet
Apartment bathroom with the new tub.... although it has a ladder in it... hmmmm
Plumbing for the tub.....
Upstairs hallway utility closet. I believe Bruening may be done in here for a bit....
More ductwork to the main unit that we still have to buy.
The front of our house. Sorry Judge Schuering :-( We'll work on it this weekend. I just need some gloves and a barrel of mosquito repellent
Here are some last minute other random pics:
Ummm....my new tub is already dirty......
Our shower..... Alok wanted something raining on his head (next pic) and I wanted a normal shower (I hate it when water runs down my face). The nice thing about rebuilding a house. this is the diverter that allows for both.
Alok's rain shower thing
We also got just a bit of wood delivered today, as seen here:
A lot of wood
Rogi and Alok carried it all in.... poor guys!
It's a termite buffet!!
Before I sign off this ever entertaining blog, I have 2 announcements. First, congrats to Alok and Eric who won the Downtown Quincy cooking contest this past weekend! It cut into the house work time, but the veggie curry and crepe were worth it!
You can see a clip of him cutting up veggies by clicking here
Also, one more big non-related house thing. Come out this Saturday to see what is keeping me from the house:
