The insulation is finished. Well, at least for the outside walls. We will be insulating most of our inside walls to help with noise, plus we have zoned heating and air (or will when we get the 2nd unit installed).
Here is the lovely foam (BTW, we used Prairie State Insulation. I would highly recommend them!):

We even have some foam coming out from the holes in our house:

Now that the insulation is complete, here is our to do list (prior to move in):
1) Move these lovely basement stairs and frame out this area as a hall closet

2) Refinish the 1st floor floors

3) Refinish the 2nd floor floors

4) Fix the attic floor

5) Frame the attic
6) Random framing/insulation on inside walls
7) Finish our master bath (contracted out and fixtures bought)
8) Surround sound/cable/internet wiring (contracted out)
9) Finish our little bath under the stairs
10) Clean (or have it cleaned....)
11) Put a floor in the apartment area

12) Install our lovely stained glass window
13) Do a bit of window repair
Lucky 13!! Oh, and re-do some areas of the kitchen (we'll pretend that it still number 13)
In other news, managing our flat room/leaves is turning out to be fun:

Anyone know anyone who cleans gutters..... seriously!
In other news, we went on the historic home tour on Saturday in Quincy. We actually met some people who we don't know who read the blog. Hello fans ;-)
That's all for now. We're meeting with the drywaller again Monday so should have an update on the timeline.
