38 days to baby (or should I say between 0-46 days)! That may be leading to some sort of panic, so we are trying to relax a bit and scale back. Easier said than done, but we are working on it.
This weekend, Alok continued to scrape the outside of the house. Here he is analyzing how to best get the large ladder up so he can scrape:
Today, I came to the house to find out that a LOT more of the house is blue! The good news is that we are making progress. The bad news is that without the trim being painted and with the old colors still present, it looks very, very ridiculous. Here are the pics, although it is kinda hard to see with the light:

The rest of the wood floor has also been laid! Now, we just need to refinish it and lay the pre-finished floor in the office.
The drywallers also came today! One or 2 more coats and we should be good to go on the patches. No pics, sorry!
My mom also spent her 65th birthday (Happy 65th!) cleaning the attic. Seriously. We also went out to dinner twice, but she chose to go and work on the house. Alok asked her what was on her bucket list and she said having us move into the house.... I believe that she was serious.
It's kinda amazing though that we have 1 non-nasty area! Woo hoo!! Here it is, all clean:
Looking good! We may need a bigger rug though ;-) (Part of the couch is on wheels and otherwise it really scratches up the floor). There are still a few minor pet safety issues up here and we need to get carpet for the stairs, but we are getting there!!
