Alok has finally finished with the kitchen! Woo hoo!! Well, there still needs to be some painting, sanding, lighting, installing appliances, etc, but it's looking good and those things will wait!

Alok also moved upstairs and finished painting the outside of the tub for the attic.
And now he has the job of scrapping off the rest of the paint. He informed me today that it should only take about 8 years (OK, maybe months, but still, that isn't happening). He also realize that the spindles in our banisters are actually pine, which means they are meant to be painted. Sigh. So either they cheaped out on that part of the banister or someone cut them out. Given the hack job on this house, what would you guess?

You can see on the banister below where he finished scrapping the bottom half and has the top to go.
