Sorry that we've been MIA, but I've been sick this week so I am avoiding the dusty/allergy-ness that is our house. Alok has been there and more siding is going up (in other words, our house is more blue), but he said that he's been too tired to take pictures. He did promise to do a blog tomorrow. In the meantime, here's the progress on uncovering the fireplace that is in the foyer:
You can see the arch shape at the top and the different bricks they used to fill it in. Alok suspects that there is another fireplace on the other side of this wall as well, but hasn't explored that yet.
Pretty cool. I just wish we had an X-ray machine that could tell us what else is hiding behind those walls..... money, treasure maps, bodies... who knows!! (Where are Nicholas Cage or Tom Hanks when you need them?)
